Over the years, UCPB Gen became the majority owner. Aside from providing affordable motorcar insurance, Direct Link also provides customers with convenience via a telephone- based marketing operation.

Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc.

Cocolife Asset Management Company, Inc. (CAMCI) is a wholly owned subsidiary and the Mutual Fund Investment Company of Cocolife.

CAMCI started operations in 2003 and is licensed to operate as the Investment Adviser and Principal Distributor of its three Mutual Funds namely United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc., and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc.

CAMCI and the three Mutual Funds have received multiple recognitions and awards from both International and Local award-giving bodies, such as the Thomson Reuters Lipper Fund, Philippine Investment Funds Association (PIFA), Global Business Outlook, International Finance, International Business Magazine, the European Awards, and World Business Outlook for superior fund return performance and mutual fund management, over the years.

And as CAMCI celebrates its 20th founding anniversary while under the helm of President Robert V. Ultra Security Services Inc.

Ultra Security Services, Inc. (USSI) started its operations on 21 March 1988 in accordance with Republic Act No. 5487, otherwise known as the Private Security Agency Law, with the primary objective of providing long- term and top quality security services to its client-companies. These services are focused on bank security such as armored car escort and branch premises, campus security, corporate buildings, hospitals, food chains, and acquired properties. 

Its initial work force in 1988 was a little over 200, and has grown to its current manpower complement of 920. These security personnel are manning UCPB branches, the Head Office and acquired assets in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, including other commercial clients.

Cocoplans began its operations on May 1994 and was launched on October 18 1994. Its first product: pension plans tailor made for Filipinos at different income levels. The company grew at a rapid pace in the next few years, as it established business centers nationwide, while steadily increasing its asset base and trust fund. 

In a short span of time, Cocoplans distinguished itself by offering a suite of pension plans and education plans that fit the needs, preferences and capabilities of a wide spectrum of consumers. As of 2011, Cocoplans has stopped selling pre-need plans and is now operating as a servicing company. Cocoplans is now offering other pre-need products like memorial lots, niches and vaults.

Atty. Jan Robert V. Beltejar

Atty. Jan Robert V. Beltejar is the President and Director of Cocolife Asset Management Co., Inc. (CAMCI) and its three (3) Mutual Funds – United Fund, Inc., Cocolife Fixed Income Fund, Inc. and Cocolife Dollar Fund Builder, Inc. Atty. Robert is concurrently a Senior Vice President of COCOGEN Insurance, Inc. (COCOLIFE’s non-life insurance subsidiary), where he heads the Corporate Resources Division. He also serves as a trustee at the COCOLIFE Foundation, Inc. a partner at the Yebra De Jesus Loon Law Offices, and as assistant corporate secretary at E. Zobel, Inc.

Apart from his corporate and legal work, he is also a member of the academe, where he has served as a lecturer of the Leadership and Strategy and Marketing and Law Departments of the John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo de Manila University since 2015. In the same year, he likewise served as Finance Director in a multi-sectoral organization.

Atty. Robert joined COCOLIFE as a consultant in 2019 and was elected to the Board of Directors of United Fund, Inc. in the same year.

Atty. Robert completed his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Legal Management and minor in International Business at the Ateneo de Manila University, where he graduated cum laude in 2011, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2015.

Atty. Yebra is the Vice President and Head of Risk Management and Compliance Division of Cocolife and Head of the Risk Oversight Committee of Cocogen. 

He was a former Associate of Sycip Law, and former Junior Partner of the Rosal, Reyes & Associates Law Firm. He was also a Professor of Criminal Law and Public International Law at the University of the East College of Law, as well as a Lecturer of Criminal Law and Labor Law at the Legal Edge Bar Review Center. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Santo Tomas and graduated top of his class in San Beda University, College of Law.

Atty. David Roy C. Padin

Atty. Padin is currently the President of Cocogen Insurance, Inc.

He was formerly the Senior Vice President, Head of the Corporate Finance and Strategy Division, and Head of External Affairs and Government Relations at Cocolife.

Before joining the corporate sector, Atty. Padin was a Legislative Officer in the House of Representatives and was a member of the legal research team of the Sandiganbayan.

He took up Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minored in Economics at the University of San Carlos. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law where he also served as the Law Representative of the UP Diliman Student Council.

Atty. Josine Alexandra S. Gamboa

Atty. Josine Alexandra Gamboais a lawyer, law professor and public policy specialist. She is currently a partner in Yebra De Jesus Loon Law Offices.Atty. Gamboahas had vast experience in both private and public practice. She started her legal career as a Junior Associate in Gerodias Suchianco Estrella Law Firm, where she worked under the corporate law department. She then worked under the Office of the President, specifically in the Climate Change Commission where she was the Deputy Chief of the Legal Services Division. She contributed to government policy and participated in the negotiations in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) process, leading up to the adoption by the Philippines of the Paris Agreement.

She then practiced in the developmental field, where she was the Manager of Government Initiatives of Rare, an international conservation organization. Her work involved engaging with national and sub-national government agencies and global institutions to create an enabling policy environment for the Philippines to support coastal and fisheries resource management.She is also a professor at the De La Salle University –College of Law, where she teaches Administrative Law, The Law on Public Officers, and Election Law, and The Law on Public Corporations, and at the Universidad de Manila –College of Law, where she teaches Media Law and Ethics.
