Empowering OFWs: Cocolife Bangon Pamilya Ko

The Cocolife Bangon Pamilya Ko Promo Campaign, which honors OFWs and their families, culminated in an award ceremony at the 1st Northern International Placement Inc., Mandaluyong City. The winners, Novy Ann Tolorio Barontoy and Jessica Catalan Ratio, each received a Cocolife Kabuhayan package which includes Php 45,000, a certificate, and grocery package from Cocolife.

            Cocolife Bangon Pamilya Ko is a promotional campaign catered to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families. The initiative underscores Cocolife’s steadfast commitment to providing comprehensive financial protection for OFWs – often regarded as modern-day heroes due to their significant contributions to the country’s economy. This campaign demonstrates Cocolife’s dedication to understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by OFWs and their families.

  In coordination with their respective placement agencies, OFWs and their families were invited to submit nominations and share their financial goals as part of the campaign mechanics.

With the aim of continuous financial education, Cocolife Bangon Pamilya Ko provided meaningful opportunities for OFWs and their families to revisit their life goals and explore opportunities to enhance their income sources.

Novy Ann Tolorio Barontoy, represented by her aunt Maria Jenny Boholst, is a domestic helper in Qatar who shared her aspirations of providing a comfortable life for her family. While Jessica Ratio, also a domestic helper, expressed her gratitude for Cocolife’s support and shared her plans to establish a small business with the prize money. They both expressed their gratitude for Cocolife’s initiatives, which recognize the sacrifices of OFWs and contribute to fostering shared prosperity.
