Corporate Social Responsibilities

Youth Development

Cocolife, in partnership with Junior Chamber International (JCI) Quezon City Capitol Chapter, organized the “Capitol Hoops Camp,” a youth basketball program at Centennial Park, Quezon City. Cocolife advocates for youth development by promoting an active and balanced lifestyle, especially as we recover from the pandemic’s impact. The camp offered basketball training to 50 children, many of whom lacked access to the sport. Five standout participants were enrolled for further training. Led by JCI and Cocolife’s First Vice President Atty. Jan Darryl Dimaculangan, the camp will expand to more communities in Quezon City.

Building Healthy Communities

Cocolife, in its commitment to building a healthy community, conducted a two-run blood donation drive on July 8 and August 16, 2023. Organized by the Human Resources and Administrative Services, along with Engagement Ambassadors, and in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, the drive saw 128 employees participate. More than 50% successfully donated blood, contributing to the urgent need for a continuous blood supply. Cocolife continues to advocate for initiatives that positively impact lives and looks forward to more successful drives in the future.

Promoting Environmental Awareness

Community Development

Cocolife Foundation, led by Ret. Col. Ariel Querubin, organized a meaningful initiative for HERO Foundation and the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly. Cocolife supported 22 HERO Foundation scholars, providing them with Cocolife Care Kits and Personal Accident Insurance policies. The day also included a visit to the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly, where Cocolife employees and Col. Querubin brought joy to 77 residents by distributing essential items and supporting their livelihood efforts. This effort highlights Cocolife’s commitment to supporting Filipinos in need and fostering a spirit of care and compassion.
