Life insurance professionals from various companies came together for the largest life insurance convention in the Philippines, the LIFECON PH 2024 Boracay, with the theme PADAYON: Forward and Onward, organized by the Life Underwriters Association of the Philippines (LUAP) and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
LIFECONPH 2024 is an event that gathers the creme de la creme of the insurance industry, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualifiers, lifetime members, Court of the Table (COT), Top of the Table (TOT), and company executives. With the theme Padayon or Continue, Philippine insurance industry movers and shakers are joined by their ASEAN counterparts in their shared vision and advocacy of fostering innovation, enhancing client relationships, and promoting financial security for all.
Distinguished individuals such as the Insurance Commissioner, Atty. Reynaldo Regalado, MDRT President, Mr. Greg Gagne, and other renowned personalities from around the world showcased their insights, best practices, and inspiring stories in the realm of life insurance during the convention held at the NewCoast Convention Center Boracay from July 24 to 26, 2024.
Ms. Michelle Yeoh Hui Hoon, an esteemed 8-year MDRT member, shared the value of client mapping and her effective approach to expanding her client base. She emphasized that the core purpose of client mapping is to understand each client’s network and to build a web of connections that extends beyond the initial contact.
Ms. Michelle has boosted her prospects and strengthened client relationships by connecting with family members and extended networks. This approach fosters the importance of going beyond transactional interactions to create a supportive and interconnected community.
Mr. Jong Thian Lung, a distinguished 15-year MDRT, 2-time Top of the Table, and 3-time Court of the Table awardee, emphasized the significance of developing meaningful client relationships.
Mr. Jong shared how crucial building meaningful relationships in the insurance industry is since clients are more likely to stay with an advisor who understands their needs and genuinely cares about their well-being. By developing strong bonds, life insurers can provide more personalized service, anticipate client needs, and offer tailored solutions, leading to long-term success and a thriving client base.
The dynamic father-and-son duo from Rampver Financials, Mr. Rex Mendoza and Mr. Enro Mendoza showcased their innovative strategies for maintaining momentum in a Phygital (physical and digital) world. Their presentation demonstrates how blending traditional face-to-face interactions with cutting-edge digital tools can enhance client engagement and service delivery.
Together, they highlighted that in today’s fast-paced world, combining the best practices in physical and digital interactions is key to sustaining momentum and building lasting relationships in the insurance industry. Their approach not only keeps clients engaged but also ensures they receive consistent, high-quality service regardless of the medium. The esteemed speakers highlighted the importance of cultivating deep connections with every client, consistently following through to maintain momentum, and continually adapting to the evolving needs of Filipinos.
The event concluded with life insurers coming together, united by their shared commitment to safeguarding and building meaningful relationships with their fellow Filipinos. Participants left feeling inspired and motivated, carrying with them not just new insights and strategies but also a renewed passion for their work.
