Cocolife Foundation, Inc. (CFI) partnered with Electa Tarlac Aggregate Corporation and various medical groups in conducting a medical mission in Nambalan Elementary School, Mayantoc Tarlac, on Oct. 26, 2019.
The campaign, “Libreng Gamutan 2019”, is open to all doctors, dentists, civilian volunteers and delegates from NGOs and civic associations. Its aim is mainly to provide free medical services to indigent residents in selected communities.
During the event, more than 200 residents of Nambalan were treated to free medical and dental check-up, and received medicines, vitamins, personal hygiene kits and bags of goodies.
The project was spearheaded by Electa Tarlac Aggregate representative Ms. Hyacinth Tabuzo. Aside from CFI, other participating groups were the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians, Inc., Tarlac Medical Society and San Pablo City Medical Society. CFI was represented by Foundation Projects Head Kaya Xenia Galang, with team members Maria Shiella Fulgado and Jenifer Tamesis.
