Martin Loon
CEO
Martin Loon is the youngest President and CEO of Cocolife, the largest Filipino stock life insurance company in the Philippines. He was only 32 when he was elected by the Board of Directors to lead the Company. Under his leadership, Cocolife earned its highest income in its history, two years in a row, despite the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
He obtained his Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University, his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
In UP, he was a Member of the Order of Purple Feather, UP Law Honor Society, the UP University Student Council, and the Sigma Rho Fraternity.
He is a Professorial Lecturer in the UP College of Law and in the Master of Laws program of the San Beda University. He also taught International Security Studies and Politics and Governance at the Ateneo de Manila University.
In his life as a CEO, Martin shares that he “finds fulfillment in sharing with those I work with and for those I work for not just the material profits of the world, but rather, things money can never buy – honor, integrity, courage, excellence, peace – these are things that I try to instill in my organization and those I work with. We should dedicate our lives in the service of others.”
